　　Job Purpose :

　　Be responsible for all FN matters related to Shell (China) Limited (“SCL”) on corporate finance level including group/statutory reporting, compliance, tax related matters, entity cost review, working capital and cash management, etc. To assist the Deputy Controller in coordinating perform review of reports before submission to local Boards, Group and Statutory bodies including liaison with relevant authorities where needed. Perform statutory report and government compliance for individual legal entities.

　　This position requires an individual from the accounting profession who has excellent technical knowledge & experience and strong influencing and communication skills to engage with local COB finance managers on DS financial performance, accounting and financial reporting issues and the related control environment. This position is key in ensuring timely, accurate and reliable financial reporting and compliance withstatutory requirements within a robust financial control framework.

　　Degree in the areas of Finance or Accounting and professional certification(s) (CPA, ACCA or CIMA) preferred with 5-plus years experience

　　Strong technical knowledge, analytical skills and experience to provide accounting and financial advice to finance colleagues and managers

　　Highly disciplined in meeting deadlines and ability to deliver results under pressure

　　Team work focused to deliver results and meeting business needs

　　Motivation and drive to deliver changes, to improve processes and results

　　Balance of transparent communication with reporting line and decision-making ability.

　　Ability to work effectively with local operational teams, virtual team in Finance Operations, CoB finance and relevant stakeholders at Group level

　　Finance Manager, Tianjin Retail JV

　　Tianjin, China

　　The primary purpose of this role is to cover the end-to-end responsibility in finance in business and Controller/Finance Operations/Treasury/Taxation/CP/Legal activities and key player in IT, with the role as the right-hand man to Joint Venture (JV) General Manager. The incumbent is expected to engage and maintain relations with various stakeholders.

　　The role is expected to provide comprehensive finance function in the followed aspects.

　　1. Governance, Assurance and Controls - to ensure that fit for purpose controls are embedded.

　　2. Planning & Appraisal - to ensure a systematic financial database and reporting process is in place, generating timely valuable MI to support decision making and achieve Company goal.

　　3. Treasury operation - to ensure an effective cash management is in place to support business operations/growth, and maintain relations with banks.

　　4. Accounting and Reporting - to ensure data integrity for all accounts and comply with PRC GAAP and reporting requirements by Laws and shareholders.

　　5. Taxation - to ensure compliance of tax regulations/laws and a fit for purpose JV tax manual and take appropriate approach to apply tax incentive/exemption programs granted by governments where applicable.

　　6. Contract & Procurement - to ensure the JV CPPM is fit-for-purpose and complied and lead the CP manager to deliver the procurement cost effectiveness.

　　7. Legal – to ensure proper legal review and advice is provided to business.

　　8. Business development support – to conduct Finance review and challenge of investment proposals; to provide finance review and support for JV operating plans; to partner with the JV Management team on the business road map design; and related risk is addressed and mitigated when supporting rapid business growth.

　　9. IT – to ensure all IT systems are in the most efficient and effective manner to serve business needs, and implement an appropriate IT strategy that supports Company's growth.

　　10. People development – to lead a sizeable team; to develop JV local talents to sustain a robust finance function.
